According to a recent study, one in four women are considering quitting or downshifting their careers due to the pandemic. This is because working mothers are more likely than working fathers to manage most of their family’s housework and caregiving, and twice as likely to worry that their performance at work will be judged negatively due to their caregiving responsibilities during the pandemic. They’re also more likely to feel uncomfortable sharing these challenges with their managers.
