Sarah Valentini, Director at Large

Sarah Valentini is a leading mortgage professional with 21 years’ experience in residential and commercial lending. In 1999, she launched radius financial group inc., where she serves today as principal and president. Under Sarah’s leadership, radius has grown from a small, local lender to one of New England’s leading, private mortgage banks. Sarah has worked to make radius a model for honest, fair lending practices. By consistently offering a better mortgage experience, radius has earned a solid reputation among individual borrowers and referral partners alike for quality service and integrity. That commitment to excellence has served the company well, ultimately fueling its continued growth and success, despite the industry’s turbulence in recent years.

Over the past few years, Sarah has been prominently recognized for rapidly pushing radius to unprecedented levels of revenue growth, and ranking among “The 100 Most Influential Mortgage Executives in America” by Mortgage Executive Magazine and was recently honored by the Rosoff Awards, the region’s premier celebration of diversity within the workplace. In 2016, Sarah Valentini was named South Shore Habitat for Humanity National Women Build Chairwoman. Recognized in September 2015, as Stevie Award Winner for Women in Business. She was voted among Banker & Tradesman’s Best of 2015 and in 2014, 2013 one of Banker & Tradesman’s Women of Fire. Sarah ranked 16th among the Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO) 50 Fastest- Growing Women-Owned/Led Companies in North America.

Meanwhile, radius was ranked among the nation’s fastest- growing private companies for five consecutive years by Inc. magazine’s Inc. 5000. The company was also listed as one of the Top 100 Mortgage Lenders in America 2012 by Mortgage Executive Magazine; and among the Top 100 Women-led Businesses in the area by Boston Globe Magazine and The Commonwealth Institute.

Today, Sarah serves as a mentor for Interise, an organization dedicated to stimulating economic revitalization in lower income communities. She is a board member of The Committee of 200 (C200), a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association of America, and the Women Presidents' Organization (WPO).

Sarah is also a member of The Women’s Golf Association of Massachusetts, among other local real estate boards.
