Founder and CEO of the career management and leadership services company that bears her name, Kimberly Bishop is among the most recognized recruiters in the industry. She brings more than 20 years of business leadership experience to her position – expertise that, combined with her down-to-earth approach and relationship-building skills, has led business leaders and CEOs around the world to seek her counsel.
Before launching her own enterprise, Ms. Bishop was vice chair and board director of Slayton Search Partners/Boardroom Consultants. There, and in an earlier role as managing director for Korn/Ferry International, she specialized in placing senior executives and board directors. Her career began at First Data Corporation, where she rose from an entry-level position to become the youngest person to serve on the company's leadership team.
Ms. Bishop appears regularly on news broadcasts, from CNN to Fox Business, and has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Associated Press, Money, American Banker, PINK, and more. She has been called "The Recruiter" by CNBC, one of "The World's Most Influential Headhunters" by BusinessWeek, and has hosted the radio show "Business Style with Kimberly B" on VoiceAmerica Network. A graduate of Bellevue University with an MA in leadership, Ms. Bishop chairs the Governance Committee of C200, which she joined in 2003, and has served on numerous other community, philanthropic and business boards. Her contributions to women and children have earned her a Girl Scouts Woman of Distinction award and a STAR Award from the New York Women's Agenda. She is a member of Women for Women New York Leadership Circle, as well as the International Women's Forum, Women's Corproate Directors and the Belizean Grove.
