Eve S. Benton

Eve Benton has parlayed her success as a business leader and entrepreneur into founding Benton Advisory Services, a management consulting firm that guides other CEOs through critical transformations with an eye towards increased profitability. As her firm's president and CEO, she has provided counsel to the heads of prestigious organizations such as Allied Capital. Ms. Benton's leadership experience also includes serving as chairman of Precision CertiPro Warehouse and co-founder and co-chairman of Bund Capital private equity funds. She was among the pioneers of the shared office suites business, founding one of the first such companies in Washington, D.C.

In 1999, Ms. Benton founded Vehicles for Change, the largest nonprofit car award program in the U.S. Vehicles for Change awards more than 500 cars each year to working poor families in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Ms. Benton balances her professional consulting services with advocating for other women in the business arena. A C200 member since 1999, she currently co-chairs the organization's Membership Committee, and, in 2006, she co-chaired the annual conference. She also is active on the Advisory Boards of Harvest Bank of Maryland, Inspired Ideas, StoreAdore.com, and Pacific Trade International. She is also currently on the Board of the Susan G. Komen Advocacy Board. Past board roles include the Alumni Board of Harvard Business School, Washington Performing Arts Society, Wolf Ttrap Foundation and Leadership Washington.

Ms. Benton holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in economics from Smith College. She and her husband, an investment banker, live in Bethesda, Maryland. Their son is a recent college graduate and an aspiring filmmaker in Los Angeles.
