Kathryn Swintek
Treasurer
Kathryn Swintek is a corporate leader with wide-ranging international financial services experience. She is retired from a 20-year career with BNP Paribas, where she most recently served as Managing Director and Global Co-Head of its London-based Financial Sponsors Coverage Group. As a senior member of the executive team, she launched and orchestrated three new lines of business for the firm, leading its expansion into underwriting leveraged buyout loans, asset securitization and global high yield bonds. Previously, Ms. Swintek was a senior executive with Irving Trust Company, where she held positions in risk management, and acquisition finance, and managed business relationships for the International Division in North Africa and the Near East, as well as in France, where she served as Representative residing in Paris.
Ms. Swintek has been tapped for numerous boards in recognition of her management expertise and her commitment to advancing women's leadership in business. She is on the Foundation Board and Membership Committee for C200, which she joined in 2003, and serves as vice chair of the Northeast Region. Other board appointments include the Board of Directors of Trade Settlement Inc. and the Advisory Board of the Allele Fund L.P. She is also a member of the Women's Forum and the Women Business Leaders of the U.S. Health Care Industry Foundation.
Ms. Swintek is equally committed to educational causes. She received the Saint Vincent de Paul Award from the College of Mt. St. Vincent, where she serves on the Board of Trustees, and the Woman of Achievement Award from the American Association of University Women's New York City Chapter.
The recipient of a B.A. in economics from the College of Mt. St Vincent, she also holds an MBA in finance from New York University. Ms. Swintek and her husband, Andre reside in New York City, where they enjoy the wide variety and high quality of performing arts. That interest is underscored by Ms. Swintek's service on the Board of the Mint Theater.
