Mary G. "Trudi" Williams

As executive vice president for City Underwriting Agency, Trudi Williams oversees the production, account management and program design for large national accounts as well as risk management consulting and brokerage for middle market accounts. She joined the New York-based firm, which specializes in risk management services as well as personal and commercial insurance products, in 2007 after holding the same position at Arthur Gallagher & Co. At Gallagher, she was recognized as one of the firm's top 10 new business brokers worldwide in both 2004 and 2005. Her insurance career spans more than 25 years and has included senior executive roles for CNA Risk Management, Reliance National and AIG.

A well-known industry leader, Ms. Williams is a frequent speaker on insurance-related issues. Recent engagements include Carnegie Mellon University, Vanderbilt's Owen School of Management and NYU Stern.

Ms. Williams participates in several influential organizations dedicated to the advancement of women as corporate leaders. She has been active in C200 since 1995 and serves as its Northeast Region chair. She is a member of the Financial Women's Organization of New York, the Association for Professional Insurance Women, the International Women's Forum, and Belizean Grove. In addition, she is treasurer of the Executive Board of Trustees of New York Downtown Hospital and a past president of Executive Women's Roundtable.
