Laurie Ann Goldman has been CEO of SPANX, Inc., since 2002. In just seven years, she has grown the firm from a one-product entrepreneurial venture to a $350-million retail industry leader. Ms. Goldman has led the company through product expansion, the launch of overseas sales, and the diversification of distribution channels. Today, it is the number-one shapewear brand in major department stores In the US and overseas. Before joining Spanx, Ms. Goldman spent 10 years with The Coco-Cola Company as the leader of its worldwide licensing division. She also managed event marketing for Macy's Department Store.

As a speaker, Ms. Goldman has appeared before such groups as The American Heart Association, The National Charity League, multiple Jewish federations, The Strategy Institute, and several business schools. She has been interviewed by Forbes, CNBC, The Wall Street Journal, and Women's Wear Daily.

Ms. Goldman serves on multiple boards engaged in community, philanthropic and professional development. She inspires other women to achieve in the business arena, and is the current Southeast Chair of C200, which she joined in 2003. She is also on the board of the Jewish Federation, Camp Sunshine and Pace Academy. Ms. Goldman's active role as a community volunteer led to the privilege of running the Olympic torch through the streets of Atlanta. She has also represented the American Jewish Committee before Israel's Minister of Defense.

A resident of Atlanta's Buckhead neighborhood, Ms. Goldman lives with her husband and three sons. In addition to spending time with her boys, she enjoys shopping for handbags and playing with her puppy, Lou Lou.
