Campus Reachouts
The members of The Committee of 200 share their success with MBA and college students through the Foundation’s signature Reachout programs. Through these intensive one-day events at leading academic institutions both in the United States and around the world, C200 members share their expertise and insights with women who are future leaders in business.
Our Reachout programs address two key audiences. At the college level, C200 members seek to demonstrate the value of pursuing a career in business to young women who may not have made their career decision. Our members participate in panels and roundtable discussions with students aimed at demonstrating the positive aspects of a business career and the many possibilities that exist.
Our MBA Reachout programs seek to provide critical support and inspiration to women pursuing their MBAs. Our members spend a day participating in panels, roundtable discussions and networking with the students to encourage them to pursue leadership careers in business. Students help to design the curriculum for the day so that it responds to the issues that are most pressing as they ponder their post-MBA careers. Participating students are given the opportunity to apply for one of three C200 Scholar Awards of $10,000 each.
C200 member contributions to the Reachout program since its inception have included more than 14,500 hours of members' time valued at more than $10 million. Members have reached more than 11,250 students and given more than $1,200,000 in scholarships.
